Lee Yoo-Mi becomes the first-time Emmy winner for Best Guest Actress in Netflix Drama Series for Squid Game on Sunday at the Creative Arts Emmys at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Backstage at the Creative Arts Emmys, Lee Yoo-Mi told “I think I’ll probably die at Red Light, Green Light” she added “Holding it now feels very heavy and it almost feels like a sense of heavy responsibility that I have as an actress. I want to be able to do more with it moving forward.”

When asked about Squid Game Season 2, she told “Season 2 is still a secret. But I think once you watch it, you’ll find out.”

Netflix Squid Game season 1 won five Creative Emmys on Sunday including Lee’s win alongside Outstanding Special Video Effects, Outstanding Stunt Performance, and Outstanding Production Design.

Lee Yoo-mi was born on July 18, 1994, in Jeonju, South Korea. She got world recognition by playing the role of Ji-yeong in Netflix’s Squid Game. She also starred in All of Us Are Dead.
