Loki Season 2: Kate Herron Will Be Not Return To MCU

Loki Season 2: Kate Herron

The variants of Loki, Sylvie, and Who He Remains will return for Season 2 of Marvel’s Loki, but EP and director Kate Herron, who has been a driving force behind the production, will not.

In an interview, the UK filmmaker stated, “I’m not returning.” “I originally intended to be on just for this, and to be honest, season 2 wasn’t in the plans — that’s something I’m very thrilled about. I’m excited to watch it as a fan next season, but I just want to say that I’m proud of what we accomplished here and that I gave it my best. I’m also working on some unannounced projects.”

Will she be a part of another Marvel film? “No, I’m just working on my own stuff right now. I like Marvel and would want to collaborate with them again, but I’ve already done so with Loki.”

Apart from the end-credits banner at the conclusion of the episode, Marvel has not revealed anything about Season 2.

Herron hasn’t been given any specifics about season 2 teasers. Also, it’s unclear whether Loki season 2 will premiere before or after Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which features Jonathan Majors’ big bad baddie Kang the Conqueror (who was first featured in the Loki season finale).
