Madelyn Cline has secured her first major studio job following her breakout part in Netflix’s popular series Outer Banks, in which she will star with Daniel Craig in the next part of Knives Out, which Netflix recently acquired the rights to. Janelle Monae, Dave Bautista The cast has recently been expanded to include Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson, and Edward Norton. Netflix had agreed to a contract of more than $400 million for the following two chapters, according to Deadline, which was a milestone for the streaming service. Craig will reprise his role as super investigator Benoit Blanc, while Johnson will write and direct the film with his collaborator Ram Bergman.

Other than Craig returning to solve another case involving a vast cast of suspects, plot specifics are unclear at this time. It’s also unclear who Cline will portray in the film. In Greece, production will begin this summer.

With her main role in the television series Outer Banks, Cline grabbed the world by storm at the age of 23. The show follows Sarah Cameron, a quick-witted and warm-hearted woman, and a close-knit circle of friends as they are forced to negotiate a series of criminal events that occur during a hurricane-ravaged, life-changing summer in the Outer Banks, North Carolina. This summer, Madelyn will return for Season 2 of Outer Banks.

Netflix recognizes her star power as well, since this is her third endeavor with the company, having previously participated in the smash show Stranger Things. Boy Erased and Vice Principals were among Cline’s previous credits before Outer Banks. The Giant, her first major feature film, opened at the Toronto Film Festival. Her next film is Blumhouse’s Once Upon a Time on Staten Island, which she will star in.
