With the tremendous success of Spider-man: No Way Home and a global gross of $1 Billion. Marvel Studios and Sony are now reconsidering to bring Tobey Maguire’s Spider-man 4 back.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal confirmed that Holland’s Spiderman 4 is in development in an interview in NYT. They are gonna make another trilogy with Holland.

Spider-Man 4 was canceled because Sam Raimi wasn’t satisfied with the execution and storyline. He even went on the record explaining that he couldn’t quite land on a script he was happy with, so he and Sony agreed it was best to abandon the film. the main villain is considered Mysterio.

In No Way Home, The three Spider-man had numerous discussions cut, including both Tobey and Andrew warning Holland’s Peter about how dangerous Green Goblin is. Finally, there may be an alternate ending where Peter isn’t wiped from everyone’s memories but he still distances himself from MJ and Ned to protect them.
