According to Disney+, An Untitled Marvel film’s release date is previously slated for February 16, 2024, but has been pushed to September 6, 2024. When checking about the film insight, it is confirmed that the Untitled Marvel film is Marvel’s Deadpool 3 starring Ryan Reynolds.

When Will Deadpool 3 Filming Starts?

According to Stefan Kapicic, who plays the role of Colossus in Deadpool 1 and 2, filming for Deadpool 3 begins in January 2023. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are penning the script. Shawn Levy will return to direct the film. Previously, 20th Century Fox holds the rights to the X-Men franchise and the characters. Disney now owns the entire X-Men franchise. Possibly, we can expect a reboot of the X-Men franchise from Disney.

According to the latest Production weekly (Tweet), Deadpool 3 is filming under Richmond Street Productions.

Deadpool was released on February 8, 2016. The film grossed $782.6 million worldwide with a $58 million production cost. It marks the highest R-rated film in Marvel history. Following its sequel, Deadpool 2 was released on May 18, 2018, directed by Shawn Levy. The film grossed $785.8 million worldwide on a $110 million budget. Within a short time, Deadpool became the anti-hero to Marvel fans’ favorite superhero.

Morena Baccarin, who plays the role of Vanessa told (The Direct) about her return, during a panel at DragonCon Atlanta on Saturday, September 4. Vanessa said “You know, from your lips to God’s ears, I have no idea. They’re writing the script right now. I’m usually the last to find out anything. I’m not even… I wish I had the information I could give you but I really don’t. But it’d be great.” she added “I think when we shot the second film, I would just die. And then after they screened it a few times they actually changed it to include this timeline thing so I think that’s a good sign that the fans want to see her again. Whether or not it happens, it’s not up to me.”
