Marvel’s Moon Knight Review: Enter Into The Chaos Magic

Marvel's Moon Knight Review

Marvel’s Moon Knight Review: The complete series is about entering into chaos magic. The series opens with Oscar Isaac’s Steven Grant, a gift shop employee working at a museum in London. Suddenly, Steven had some glimpses of a parallel life hitting his vision. he’s living as former mercenary Marc Spector. Steven got worried and questioned himself if anything he was experiencing is real. The split life lead him to reach Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow, who was a man with a devoted following and who is directly opposed to the Egyptian Moon god Khonshu.

Layla El-Faouly was introduced into Steven’s life. she was from Marc’s past portrayed by May Calamawy. The story explores adventure and focuses on the pantheon of Egyptian mythology. The horrific creatures in tombs and pyramids were something new in Marvel.

It is still blowing my mind how Oscar Isaac plays two separate characters at the same time. you can witness the real talent of Isaac in the series. he has well-defined Steven’s more awkward and passive nature to Marc’s tortured and restrained nuances.

Ethan Hawke’s Arthur Harrow is also an incredible superpowered heavy hitter, a worthy opponent to Moon Knight. Harrow is the leader of a cult of worshippers. he sees himself as burdened with the responsibility to fix the world, curing it of evil and sin. he performed very real and grounded because of this, with Hawke speaking extensively in the press tour about how he looked into real-life cult leaders to build his interpretation of the character. He’s not physical, playing heavily into the brute vs manipulator archetype that pops up in the superhero genre, and he uses his words and connections to help him towards his goal.

When coming to May Calamawy’s Layla is one of the important characters to surprise audiences. her portrayal is very emotional and also very important. The whole elements will be explained in the episodes. we are not revealing everything. The violence is not up to Daredevil or The Punisher. In the comics, Moon Knight is very deadly and brutal to enemies. although Moon Knight is a little scary sometimes.
