Marvel's ‘Wonder Man’ Series is in Development at Disney+

Marvel Studios developing ‘Wonder Man’ series at Disney+, Andrew Guest will write with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton is set to executive produce & potentially direct. Cretton is working via his overall deal with Marvel Studios, signed late last year in the glow of Shang-Chi’s success. According to THR, Wonder Man is in the early stages, the filming will begin in 2023.

Wonder Man became a member of the Mighty Avengers. Wonder Man began a romantic relationship with fellow Mighty Avenger Ms. Marvel warning her not to use her position as leader of the Avengers to keep him out of potentially dangerous situations just because of their relationship.

Created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Don Heck in the pages of the Avengers comic back in the 1960s, Wonder Man aka Simon Williams was a villain turned hero with a variety of superpowers ranging from strength to speed to Ionic Energy Manipulation and even teleportation.

The cast for the Wonder Man series is not yet decided. Marvel Studios will announce the actor soon.
