Matt Reeves’ The Batman is finally taking steps to release. The mystery plot is based on municipal corruption, which is essential to the Batman franchise. This time, The Batman avoids the original story and focuses on the “World’s Greatest Detective” aspect. With its visually spectacular masterpiece, The Batman is expected to earn $100M – $125M in the opening weekend.
While the Caped Crusader keeps an eye on Gotham’s citizens, the army of his enemies grows bigger and stronger. Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattison), aka Batman, is ready to dive into the city’s underworld and put together a puzzle of vicious crimes threatening Gotham’s peace. The famous villain and the sadistic killer, Edward Nashton (Paul Dano), aka the Riddler, targets Gotham’s elite, but fortunately, he leaves cryptic clues for Batman, which sends him into the city’s dark underworld.
The Riddler, above all, obsessed with what he says is “the most grotesquely crooked thing about Gotham City: the plutocrat Wayne family and Bruce’s late father” who weaved fraud and crime into the cornerstone of the city of Gotham. With Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz made a stylish entry as Catwoman. We’re also going to see Andy Serkis as Wayne’s butler Alfred and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. The Batman will hit theaters on the 4th of March in the US and in the UK.
