Nickelodeon released the first trailer for the live-action ‘Monster High: The Movie’. The film is based on Mattel’s Monster High franchise, which was created by Garrett Sander. directed by Todd Holland with a script written by Jenny Jaffe, Billy Eddy, and Matt Eddy from a story by Jaffe, Greg Erb, and Jason Oremland. watch the teaser trailer below.

Monster High: The Movie‘ official synopsis follows, “Clawdeen Wolf, who was born half human and half werewolf, after she arrives at her new school, Monster High. She quickly makes friends with her classmates Frankie Stein and Draculaura, and for the first time in her life, Clawdeen feels like she has finally found a place where she fits in and can truly be herself, despite keeping her human half a secret. When a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal her real identity, Clawdeen must learn to embrace her true monster heart and find a way to save the day.”

Monster High: The Movie stars Miia Harris as Clawdeen Wolf, Ceci Balagot as Frankie Stein, Nayah Damasen as Draculaura, Case Walker as Deuce Gorgon, Kyle Selig as Mr. Komos, Marci T. House as Headmistress Bloodgood, Scotch Ellis as Apollo Wolf, Steve Valentine as Dracula, Jy Prishkulnik as Cleo de Nile, Lina Lecompte as Lagoona Blue, Justin Derickson as Heath Burns, Lilah Fitzgerald as Ghoulia Yelps, and Nasiv Sall as Abbey Bominable.

The film is produced by Mattel, the toy company behind the series, Brightlight Pictures, Dark Toy Productions, and Nickelodeon.

Monster High: The Movie’ releases later this year on Paramount+, alongside the new Monster High animated series, as part of Monster High Generation 3.
