Two of Disney+’s upcoming original series, Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars spinoff Andor, have been given a release date.

Ms. Marvel and Andor are set to launch on Disney+ in Q4 of 2022, according to The Walt Disney Company’s Q4 earnings call for 2021. In other words, both shows will be available on the streaming site between October and December of next year.

Marvel Studios executive Victoria Alonso said to Comicbook.com that, recently as July that Ms. Marvel was expected to receive a 2021 release. Those plans have obviously changed in the past five months, especially after the Burbank-based outfit delayed its whole slate of film releases.

“She’s grown so much in the last four years and the diversity of our fanbase alone is so impressive. They all love Ms. Marvel. It goes to show we have a really great story with great creators,” Ms. Marvel co-creator and producer Sana Amanat previously told Inquirer. “I think it’s incredibly important that we tell young women and young girls that they have this incredible power within themselves, and that they have heroes out there [who] … they can look up to, especially in these times.”

When Will Ms. Marvel Disney+ Series Release?

Ms. Marvel is expected to release on Disney+ between July and September 2022.
