Ms. Marvel Episode 2 Review: Episode 2 “Crushed” of Ms. Marvel is now streaming on Disney+. In Crushed, Kamala and Bruno explore the source of Kamala’s newfound powers just in time for a perilous adventure. Kamala tests her cosmic powers and she discovers that she was capable of manifesting glowing constructs made out of hard light. Bruno tries to find out where the energy comes from.
Tony Stark’s drones which we saw in Spider-man: Far From Home is now controlled by damage control, and regarding Kamran, remember that his family is Kree and now they know about Kamala’s abilities. Episode 2 has clearly hinted that E.D.I.T.H is now in hands of damage control. They are handling the drones now.
In Episode 2 there is a reference from Avengers: Endgame that reminds me of Natasha and Clint. Marvel has fixed that point. The first 20 minutes of Episode 2 only reinforce that! And the best friend controversy? absolutely.
Ms. Marvel introduces Kamala Khan—a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel. But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with superpowers, right? Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel; the cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha. Episodes are directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
