Netflix Developing A Live-Action Pokemon

Netflix is working on a new Pokemon series, but no plot specifics are available because the project is still in its initial stages. According to reports, Joe Henderson has been hired to write and executive produce the film. Henderson is presently a co-showrunner and executive producer on Netflix’s hit series “Lucifer,” which is about to premiere its sixth and final season.

According to sources, the project will be a live-action series similar to the 2019 feature “Detective Pikachu,” starring Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith.

A Pokemon series, for Netflix, is yet the next step toward its largely competitive match vision. With The Witcher and, perhaps, Castlevania, the studio has already had a smash, and it has Resident Evil and Tomb Raider series in the works. It has also recently said that it intends to sponsor and provide mobile games to its users at no additional charge. A Pokémon show may help the company maintain a connection with Nintendo that was already in the works. Nintendo and Netflix were supposed to be working on a live-action Legend of Zelda series as early as 2015, but it was apparently terminated owing to leaks.
