Regina Hall will star in the Netflix comedy “Me Time” alongside Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg. John Hamburg, who wrote Hart’s Night School, will write and direct the film, which he will also produce with Hart and Bryan Smiley for HartBeat Productions under his Particular Pictures. The casting was initially revealed on Hart’s social media.
While his wife and children are gone, a stay-at-home dad (Hart) finds himself with some “me time” for the first time in years. He reunites with his old best friend (Wahlberg) for a crazy weekend that nearly turns his life upside down.
Lauren Hennessey will executive produce alongside HartBeat’s Mark Moran and Patricia Braga. Joe Gatta will also serve as an executive producer.
Hall is recently starring in Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers and the Showtime comedy Black Monday. In addition, she will star in and executive produces the occult thriller Master, as well as the comedy Honk For Jesus, Save Your Soul.
