The first trailer for Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again has been revealed. The animated film is a sequel to Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. In the film, Larry Daley’s son, Nick, is hesitant to follow in his father’s footsteps as a night watchman. The film releases on December 9 on Disney+. Watch the trailer below.
The film stars Joshua Bassett as Nick Daley, Zachary Levi as Larry Daley, Steve Zahn as Jedediah, Jack Whitehall as Octavius, Thomas Lennon as Theodore “Teddy” Rosevelt, Kieran Sequoia as Sacagawea, Joseph Kamal as Kahmunrah, Alice Isaaz as Joan of Arc, Gillian Jacobs as Erica, Jamie Demetriou as Dr. McPhee, Dee Bradley Baker as Dexter, Kelemete Misipeka as Easter Island Head, and Chris Parnell as George Washington.
Directed by Matt Danner and the script was written by Ray DeLaurentis and William Schifrin. The film will be released under the Walt Disney Pictures banner instead of 20th Century Studios.
Night at the Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again will premiere on Disney+ on December 9, 2022.
