Noah Baumbach’s ‘White Noise’ Trailer Revealed, Adam Driver Will Seen as Prof. Jack Gladney

The first look at Noah Baumbach’s White Noise starring Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, and Don Cheadle has been revealed.

The first teaser trailer for Noah Baumbach’s ‘White Noise’ starring Adam Driver, Greta Gerwig, Don Cheadle, and Raffey Cassidy has been revealed. The film is scheduled to premiere at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on August 31, 2022. Watch the trailer below.

The film is written and directed by Noah Baumbach, adapted from the 1985 novel of the same name by Don DeLillo. White Noise reunites the director with Driver after 2019’s Marriage Story. That film, in which Driver co-starred opposite Scarlett Johansson, also premiered at Venice before going on to collect six Oscar nominations and one win.


‘White Noise’ synopsis follows, “At once hilarious and horrifying, White Noise dramatizes a contemporary American family’s attempt to deal with the mundane conflicts of day-to-day life while grappling with the larger philosophical issues of love, death, and the possibility of happiness in an uncertain world.”

The film stars Adam Driver as Prof. Jack Gladney, Greta Gerwig as Babette Gladney, Raffey Cassidy as Denise, André Benjamin as Elliot Lasher, Alessandro Nivola, Jodie Turner-Smith as Winnie Richards, Don Cheadle as Prof. Murray Siskind, Lars Eidinger as Arlo Shell, Sam Nivola as Heinrich, and May Nivola as Steffie.


White Noise is released in select theaters and on Netflix in 2022.
