The CW Network will Reboot The Lost Boys television series, but it appears like the boys will be returning with a fresh new feature film.

According to THR, Warner Bros. is working on a new Lost Boys film, with Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place) and Jaeden Martell (It) set to star. Randy McKinnon wrote the screenplay, which is directed by Jonathan Entwistle (“I Am Not Okay With This”). “Details of the new take are stored in the trunk of a 1957 Ford Fairlane, but it is portrayed as taking place in the present day.”

In 1987, Joel Schumacher directed The Lost Boys, a film about two brothers who move to a new town and discover that the place is a vampire paradise. Corey Feldman, Corey Haim, and Jamison Newlander played the vampire-slaying Frog Brothers in that film, and they eventually returned in two direct-to-video sequels.
