In “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” Paul Rudd will reprise his role as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, and Evangeline Lilly will reprise her role as Hope Van Dyne/Wasp. Michael Douglas is reprising his role as Dr. Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man, while Michelle Pfeiffer is reprising her role as Janet Van Dyne, his long-lost wife. Cassie Lang will be played by Kathryn Newton, while Jonathan Majors will play a variation of Kang the Conqueror.
Peyton Reed announced with a tweet that filming had begun today.
Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang’s newest form, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Jonathan Majors as Kang The Conqueror (the villainous counterpart of Loki’s He Who Remains) make out the cast.
Because Loki introduced fans to the notion of variations and various worlds interacting with one other, the title indicates a return to the Quantum Realm, and Kang’s involvement hints that this will be another MCU film that incorporates The Multiverse. Kang and his variations are likely to take Thanos’ place as the MCU’s main villains for years to come.
Ant-Man & The Wasp will hit the screens on February 17, 2023.
