Hulu released the first trailer for Predator Prequel ‘Prey‘, The film marks the fifth installment of the Predator franchise and a prequel to the first four Predator films. Prey is scheduled to premiere on Hulu on August 5, 2022. Watch the trailer below.
In the trailer, a young woman, Naru (Amber Midthunder), is a fierce and highly skilled warrior who has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains. So when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.
The film stars Amber Midthunder as Naru: A Comanche warrior who protects her tribe against a Predator, Dakota Beavers, Dane DiLiegro as the Predator, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, and Julian Black Antelope.
Dan Trachtenberg will be directing the film for Hulu with the screenplay for Patrick Aison. 20th Century Studios and Davis Entertainment will be producing the film.
