Kristen Bell and Kirby Howell-Baptiste play the “Robin Hood” of coupons in the upcoming comedy “Queenpins.” They noticed that many of the free vouchers you receive after filing a complaint with a firm all came from the same source. The film “Queenpins” is based on the actual story of America’s largest coupon forgery scheme. The film’s first trailer, which was published on Thursday, depicts the absurdity of the crime and the two women getting themselves into well over their heads, all while a federal agent and a US Postal Service agent (Paul Walter Hauser and Vince Vaughn) join up and make the situation far too seriously.

Hauser is seen in an armored car with a SWAT squad preparing for a major operation in the trailer. The agents believe they’re about to pull off a major narcotics raid, but their target is really two ladies selling counterfeit coupons. But, well, this is a major event.

“It’s not about what you buy with coupons; it’s about the sensation you receive. It’s known as the coupon high. In the video, Hauser adds, “Supposedly it’s better than the sense of closeness with another person… or so I’ve been told,” to which Bell answers, “Sorry, have you not used a coupon or have you not had sex?”

Bebe Rexha, who is making her feature debut, and Joel McHale also star in “Queenpins.” Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly are the directors of the film.

The film releases on September 10 in theaters.
