Paramount dropped the first trailer for Scream 6. According to the first trailer, Ghostface’s murders continue in the streets of New York City, searching for the survivors. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on March 10, 2023. Watch the trailer below.
The plot follows the survivors of the latest Ghostface killings, sisters Samantha and Tara Carpenter, and twins Chad and Mindy Meeks, as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a new chapter of their lives in New York City.

Scream 6 is the sixth installment in the Scream franchise. The film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, with original franchise writer and creator Kevin Williamson returning as executive producer. The film ensemble cast includes Courteney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Mason Gooding, Hayden Panettiere, and Jasmin Savoy Brown, who are returning to roles they played in previous installments.
The key character Neve Campbell is not returning in Scream 6, as she was offered less pay for the latest installment. In an interview, Campbell said, “I did not feel that what I was being offered equated to the value that I bring to this franchise and have brought to this franchise for 25 years.” Campbell added, “And as a woman in this business, I think it’s really important for us to be valued and to fight to be valued.”
Scream 6 is coming to theaters on March 10, 2023.
