Season 5 of ‘The Crown’ Will Start This July

Production on season 5 of the successful Netflix series ‘The Crown‘ will begin in the month of July. This season features a new cast of actors playing the iconic royal, with “Tenet” star Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Prince Carles by Dominic W., Queen by Imelda Staunton, and Princess Margaret by Lesley Manville. Creators are now beginning to go to Elstree Studios, north of London, where most of the show produced by the Left Bank is being filmed and the cameras hope to begin rolling under strict COVID-19 protocols. The U.K. is hoped to recover well from the devastating impact of this pandemic by July, in particular. After a third national lockdown in January, the country will begin to ease restrictions from 12 April.

In an interview with James Corden last month, Harry showed that he actually saw ‘The Crown,’ and spoke openly of his impressions about the drama. “It’s fictitious, but it’s truth-driven. It’s not strictly accurate, of course; it gives you a rough idea of what life is like, the pressure of putting duty and service before families and everything else.
