Selena Gomez is featured on the cover of ELLE’s September 2021 edition, which is the brand’s first Latinx issue. Selena not only graces the cover, but she also served as guest editor for the issue. Selena emulated Marilyn Monroe for the cover and photograph, wearing her golden blonde hair down in massive curls.
Selena looked stunning on the cover, reclining on a blue satin bed while dressed entirely in Chanel, with a graphic black T-shirt tucked into a pink tweed skirt and matching blazer. She completed her ensemble with Chanel and Cartier choker necklaces, black fishnet Falke tights, and bedazzled Giuseppe Zanotti mules.
Selena’s sleeveless black Louis Vuitton short dress, which had silver studs on the bodice, was another one of our favourite outfits from the session. She wore the outfit with the same fishnets and silver and black Louis Vuitton heels.
Selena’s clothes continued improving, and she looked very old-Hollywood elegant as she sat outdoors by the pool in nothing but a turtleneck animal print turtleneck. Selena Gomez’s glam room is her favourite hangout spot. It’s a modest room on the ground level of her new property in the Los Angeles region that leads onto a stone patio with an amoeba-shaped pool. A hair and beauty station with items from her Rare Beauty line, as well as racks of clothing for her culinary show, Selena + Chef, a selection of shoes on a shoebox dais, a green velvet couch, a pair of salon chairs, a large-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a snack station, can be found inside. Gomez appears, her hair tied back into a ponytail, in a fluffy light grey sweater, black leggings, and white sneakers. Prior to quarantine, she and her housemates, as well as her maternal grandparents, resided with her.
After selling two prior properties, Gomez moved inside the house soon before the epidemic. “I checked out a number of different areas because I wanted to figure out what would make me feel at ease in a place where I don’t feel at ease,” she adds. “I was thinking, ‘Oh, maybe I’ll try West Hollywood,’ but I quickly realised, ‘No, that’s not my feel.’ Then I moved to Calabasas, which seemed pleasant and family-oriented at the time, but it’s now quite overpowering and fashionable. It took a long time for me to figure out what was right for me.”
Aside from all of Selena’s fabulous outfits, it was her glam that truly stole the show. Her hair was down in curls while a thick black cat-eyeliner, long lashes, and bold red lip completed her look.
