Apple TV+ released the official trailer for Benjamin Caron‘s ‘Sharper’ starring Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, John Lithgow, and Briana Middleton. The psychological thriller is about motivations that are suspect and expectations that are turned upside down as a con artist takes on Manhattan billionaires. Watch the trailer below.
According to the plot synopsis:
No one is who they seem in Sharper, a neo-noir thriller of secrets and lies, set amongst New York City’s bedrooms, barrooms and boardrooms. Characters compete for riches and power in a high stakes game of ambition, greed, lust, and jealousy that will keep audiences guessing until the final moment.
Directed by Benjamin Caron from a screenplay by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka. Both had previously collaborated on episodes of the shows “Superstore” and “Animal Practice.” They also co-wrote the film “The Sitter together.”
The film stars Julianne Moore as Madeline, Sebastian Stan as Max, Justice Smith as Tom, Briana Middleton as Sandra, and John Lithgow as Richard Hobbes.
Sharper is produced by Erik Feig, Jessica Switch, Moore, Bart Freundlich, Gatewood, and Tanaka. Additionally, Julia Hammer and Amy Herman serve as executive producers. Apple Original Films and A24 are distributing.
Sharper will be released in select theaters on February 10 before becoming available exclusively on Apple TV+ on February 17.
