Snowdrop: K-Drama Starring Jisoo

Snowdrop, a much-anticipated Korean drama series featuring K-pop singer Jisoo, has sparked a stir amid reports that the show may be misrepresenting history.
The k-drama is set in Korea during the authoritarian era of the 1980s. During this period, the Gwangju Uprising occurred, a student-led revolt that prepared the way for South Korea’s fight against authoritarian governments and the country’s democratic transition.

According to reports, the premise of the show revolves around a North Korean spy who is mistaken for a student, is hurt, and is saved by a female student at a women’s university hostel. Jung Hae-In and Blackpink vocalist Jisoo play the two major protagonists.

2020 was a wonderful year for Korean dramas, and 2021 appears to be shaping up to be just as good for viewers.
