Space Jam A New Legacy: Speedy Gonzales & Granny Are Part Of The Matrix New Clip Drops

Space Jam A New Legacy: Speedy Gonzales

Warner Bros. is gearing for the July release of Space Jam: A New Legacy, which promises to be the most significant cross-pollination of IP since Ready Player One. More proof can be found in the latest trailer for the 25-year-in-the-making sequel, which includes LeBron James (Trainwreck) and Bugs Bunny being dragged into the Matrix universe to assist Granny and Speedy Gonzales.

“During a visit to the Warner Bros. studio, NBA superstar LeBron James and his kid become stuck in a universe containing all of Warner Bros.’ tales and characters, which is controlled by a malfunctioning, all-powerful force known as Al G. (played by Don Cheadle). LeBron must explore a never-before-imagined universe packed with classic movie settings and characters with the aid of Bugs Bunny as they reassemble the Looney Tunes to recover his missing kid. Now, in order to return home, LeBron and the Tunes must decipher Al G’s secret plot and win an enormous basketball game in front of the entire globe against digital gamified super-versions of the NBA and WNBA’s top stars.”
