Screenrant revealed that the Spider-Man: No Way Home story picks up after the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home and deals with the ramifications of Peter Parker’s secret superhero identity being revealed. To make things worse, he’s also framed for the death of Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), who is still widely believed to be a good guy. Desperate for help, he reaches out to Doctor Strange who jumps on the opportunity despite Wong’s (Benedict Wong) warnings about casting a particularly dangerous spell. Lo and behold, casting the tampered spell inadvertently makes their predicament worse as they now have to deal with the multiverse which is more than likely how Spider-Man 2 villain, Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), makes his way into the MCU.

The studios have yet to confirm the validity of the posters, but they do the job in terms of spreading the news about the film. Because Spider-Man is such a famous figure, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment can afford to cut back on their promotion for the hero’s next feature. Fans have already made up their minds to watch it. The initiative should be promoted to casual audiences who aren’t really involved in these pictures. In fact, they should add Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man: No Way Home’s second trailer to capitalize on their potential cameos.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled to hit the theaters on 17 December 2021.
