On June 12, Netflix Officially Announced that Squid Game was renewed for season 2 on Netflix for a 2023 premiere.

The series stars Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hun, Park Hae-soo as Cho Sang-woo, Wi Ha-joon as Hwang Jun-ho, HoYeon Jung as Kang Sae-byeok, O Yeong-su as Oh Il-nam, Heo Sung-tae as Jang Deok-su, Anupam Tripathi as Ali Abdul, and Kim Joo-ryoung as Han Mi-nyeo.

Squid Game holds Netflix’s most-watched series, becoming the top-viewed program in 94 countries and attracting more than 142 million member households and amassing 1.65 billion viewing hours during its first four weeks from launch, surpassing Bridgerton for the title of the most-watched show.
