T.J. Dillashaw, the former UFC bantamweight champion, is back in championship contention after a hard-fought split decision victory against Cory Sandhagen in the main event of UFC Vegas 32.T.J. Dillashaw was asked about his game plan versus Cory Sandhagen during the post-fight news conference. Dillashaw responded by quoting UFC welterweight Nate Diaz, who said he expected to go in there, not get struck, and then collect his fight pay.T.J. Dillashaw also stated that he intends to apply constant pressure to his opponent throughout the fight. Sandhagen, according to Dillashaw, isn’t a terrific counter fighter. Keeping ‘Sandman’ on the back foot gave the former champ more opportunities to land shots of his own and go for the takedown.
