Take My Breath by The Weeknd is to debut in the Top 10 of the Official Singles Chart in the United Kingdom

Take My Breath by The Weeknd

The Weeknd’s first new song since the release of his fourth album, After Hours, in March 2020, debuted at No. 1 in at least 20 markets, including the United States, where it became the 31-year-old Canadian singer’s fourth number one. The enthralling new track is accompanied by a cinematic video directed by Cliqua and produced by Roisn Audrey Moloney with Somesuch, which comes with a strong seizure warning due to its powerful strobing effects.

Take My Breath by The Weeknd, now at Number 9 on the Official Chart: First Look is on pace to become the highest new entry on this week’s Official Singles Chart. This Friday, the Max Martin-produced disco-pop song might become the Canadian star’s 12th UK Top 10 hit (August 13). On the Official Chart, you can see The Weeknd’s Top 20 most popular songs.

Meanwhile, KSI’s new Lil Wayne duet Lose is on track to debut in the Top 10, beginning at Number 10. If it stays at No. 1, it will be KSI’s eighth Top 10 song, and Lil Wayne’s seventh and first in seven years — since his guest appearance on Chris Brown’s 2014 hit Loyal.Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran is likely to stay at No. 1 for the seventh week; his closest opponent is The Kid Laroi & Justin Bieber’s Stay (2).
