Marvel’s She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany revealed that the fans of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will be happy to see him return in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Daredevil will also upgrade his new suit. Speaking to Deadline, Maslany was asked about Cox’s return as Daredevil in She-Hulk series. she told that “I don’t want to say anything,” Maslany said. “I just want to say that it was– I think the fans will be really happy. Because he’s amazing. He’s really amazing.”
Charlie Cox appeared as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Netflix original series Marvel’s Daredevil from 2015 to 2018. he also joined the cast of Netflix’s 2017 limited series Marvel’s The Defenders, a crossover between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. All the TV shows were canceled due to Disney’s contract. After 3 years of Daredevil’s cancellation, Marvel finally decided to bring back fan favorite Daredevil to the MCU, Cox reprised his role as Matt Murdock in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Along with Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin also reprised his role in the Disney+ Hawkeye series.
During SDCC 2022, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Cox and D’Onofrio will return to the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again, which contains 18 episodes in season one. D’Onofrio will also reportedly appear as Kingpin, in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series Echo, a spinoff of Hawkeye, which will premiere in summer 2023 as an earlier Phase Five title. Moreover, Cox is set to voice Daredevil in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ animated series Spider-Man: Freshman Year.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
The first season will consist of nine episodes and premiere on August 17, 2022.
