Spider-Man: No Way Home” is a direct sequel to Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man” film trilogy, with Simmons reprising his role as Jameson and Alfred Molina reprising his role as Doctor Octopus. Betty Brant, as you may recall, was a supporting character in all three films of this trilogy, played by Elizabeth Banks.

The Daily Bugle’s official profile on TikTok has been launched. The clip features J. Jonah Jameson (JK Simmons) asking the audience to share with them why he hates Spider-Man without explicitly saying they hate him. To help the audience, Betty Brant (Angourie Rice) offers an example.

The best of them, “Spider-Man 2,” has a sequence when Betty has to defend herself against Peter Parker from Tobey Maguire to The Daily Bugle, informing him that the pay from his previous freelancing task isn’t enough to compensate for the advancements that have been made. All these years later, seeing Rice’s recreation of Betty completing an unpaid internship serves as a subliminal reminder of that scenario.
