The First Trailer For Edgar Wright’s ‘Last Night in Soho’ Is Out Now

Last Night in Soho

The first trailer for Edgar Wright’s Last Night in Soho has finally come, revealing what we may expect from his first film since Baby Driver.

Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), and Jessie Mei Lei (Shadow & Bone) feature in this new psychological thriller about a young girl who is strangely able to reach the 1960s. Things are going to become psychedelic, bizarre, and maybe terrifying for us, and for the characters involved, based on the first trailer (which is backed by Taylor-rendition Joy’s of ‘Downtown’).

The little girl (played by Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie) is enthusiastic about fashion design and meets her hero, dazzling want to-be singer Lara, on her excursions to the 1960s (Taylor-Joy).

However, 1960s London is no longer what it appears to be, and time looks to be disintegrating, with ominous ramifications for Eloise. Terence Stamp, James and Oliver Phelps – well known for playing the Weasley twins in the Harry Potter films – and the late Dame Diana Rigg, who died in September 2020 at the age of 82 – all feature in the film.

‘Last Night in Soho’ Releasing in theaters October 22
