The Mandalorian S3- While getting Star Wars Disney+ news before the studio releases it might be tough, we’ve received some exclusive details on The Mandalorian Season 3, The Book of Boba Fett , and Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi that we wanted to share with our readers.
Fans of the Star Wars franchise will have to wait a little longer for further adventures from The Mandalorian. The Book of Boba Fett, the upcoming spinoff series from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has officially concluded filming and is set to launch on Disney+ in December, as originally announced. The Mandalorian, which returned Temuera Morrison’s bounty hunter to the Star Wars universe, teased the new spinoff at the end of Season 2, and The Book of Boba Fett has been filming in Los Angeles alongside Jon Favreau’s first Disney+ series.
The Book of Boba Fett will be a more tightly tied spinoff as well, with characters from The Mandalorian scheduled to feature in the series, which currently co-stars Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand.
Season 3 of The Mandalorian, on the other hand, is not currently in the works. Because the LA stages are currently being used by the upcoming Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series, starring Ewan McGregor in his first appearance in the galaxy far, far away since Revenge of the Sith in 2005, the LA stages are currently in use. The series is set ten years after the events of the film, and it is expected to take many months to complete.
The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to begin filming at the end of this year or very early in 2022, according to reports. This means that the season won’t premiere on Disney+ until late 2022.
