'The Marvels' First Footage Screened In the CinemaCon 2022 at Vegas

The first look footage for ‘The Marvels‘ featuring Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel has been screened at the CinemaCon 2022. In the film, Brie Larson returns to the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. she’ll be joined by Teyonah Parris, who was first introduced as adult Monica Rambeau in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision, along with Iman Vellani, who will appear as Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney+ series of the same name. Prepare to experience it and fly higher, further, and faster with the film, directed by Nia DaCosta.

In an interview with (Total Film) Ms. Marvel producer Sana Amanat talk about the MCU future of Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan. she pointed Kamala to Peter Parker or Miles Morales, describing the character as a “fan of the bigwigs of the Marvel universe”.

“She’s this young character who is very much a fan of the bigwigs of the Marvel Universe like the Avengers, and she doesn’t feel necessary like she can stand toe to toe with them. But I think, ultimately, she can, and she does.”

“She just had this energy, and this innocence, and this quirkiness to her. In one of her auditions, she really went from being very nerdy and quirky, to emotional and almost like she had this understanding of a world that someone beyond her years should have.”

The film is a sequel to Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, and Ms. Marvel, and a crossover/sequel to WandaVision and Secret Invasion.
