Netflix dropped a deleted scene from The Sandman episode 6, “The Sound of Her Wings,” featuring Tom Sturridge‘s Dream and Kirby Howell-Baptiste‘s Death. Watch the clip below.

The Sandman is based on Neil Gaiman’s 1989–1996 DC Comics book of the same name. The series centers on Morpheus, the personification of dreams and one of the seven Endless, captured in an occult ritual in 1916. After being held captive for 106 years, Dream escapes and sets out to restore order to his realm, the Dreaming.

During its first ten days on Netflix, the series received 198 million total global hours of watch time, and IMDb declared The Sandman one of the top ten shows of 2022, based on actual page views of more than 200 million monthly IMDb visitors for all ten episodes.

The series stars Tom Sturridge as Lord Morpheus / Dream, Boyd Holbrook as the Corinthian, Vivienne Acheampong as Lucienne, David Thewlis as John Dee, Jenna Coleman as Johanna Constantine, Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer Morningstar, and Kirby Howell-Baptiste as Death.

The Sandman is now streaming on Netflix.
