Netflix has not made an official announcement about Wednesday season 2, but it has been confirmed that writers are already working on season 2. According to Deadline, Amazon and MGM concluded an $8.5 billion (£7.06 billion) merger last year, which means the rights to the Wednesday series may go with it. The show is now available on Netflix, and season 2 will most likely be released on Prime Video.

According to the source, Amazon will not make all MGM content exclusive to Prime Video, which should reassure Netflix subscribers.

The “Wednesday” series is created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar for Netflix. The series is based on the character Wednesday Addams, created by Charles Addams. The series stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Gwendoline Christie, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Fred Armisen, and Christina Ricci.
