Vesemir takes a prominent place in the anime, which is a predecessor. He’s a witcher order veteran and something of a father figure to Geralt of Rivia. “Long before mentoring Geralt, Vesemir begins his own adventure as a witcher when the mysterious Deglan claims him through the Law of Surprise,” according to the official Netflix description.
Lauren S. Hissrich, the current showrunner of the live-action The Witcher series, is in charge of Nightmare of the Wolf as showrunner and co-executive producer. As the anime’s director, Kwang Han (The Boondocks, The Last Airbender) joins her. Beau DeMayo completes the creative team by writing the next series.
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf appears on August 23, 2021
