The Witcher Season 3 has been wrapped filming. Netflix is planning to release the new season after April/May 2023. According to a report from Redanian Intelligence, The final two episodes of season 3 is directed by Bola Ogun. she confirmed that wrap on her Instagram stories. The cast also shared the season 3 wrap party images.

The main lead Henry Cavill shared a message congratulation the cast and crew with a thankful message: “What a season this has been!” the letter slating. “I just wanted to thank you all for your determination and dedication through a tough shoot. In an interview with Collider, The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich revealed the plot synopsis for season 3. “As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Centra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line — or risk losing each other forever.”
