Two of the strongest heavyweights in the UFC are on the UFC 265 fight card. Derrick Lewis, a former heavyweight championship candidate, faces Ciryl Gane, a rising contender.
Ciryl Gane’s recent battles have seen him retain a strong momentum. In his six UFC fights, Gane is unbeaten. He thoroughly dominated Alexander Volkov in his most recent bout, which he won by unanimous decision at UFC Fight 190 in June of this year. Prior to that, he won a unanimous decision against Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC Fight Night 186.
Derrick Lewis, on the other hand, has won four UFC fights in a row. In his most recent bout, he severely knocked out Curtis Blaydes at UFC Fight Night 185. He had previously defeated Alexey Oleynik in the second round at UFC Fight Night 174.
