Despite this, it's obvious that the MCU has huge expectations for Vellani: she'll be back in 2022's The Marvels, a sequel to Brie Larson's Captain Marvel. Larson may or may not appear in Ms. Marvel, but her character has had a significant impact on Kamala Khan, so she can at the very least have a role in the series. Since shooting the majority of the series in Georgia, production switched to Thailand for the fourth and fifth seasons. As Thailand faced a revival of the coronavirus, Ms. Marvel wrapped production under tight safety protocols. Fortunately, they were able to finish the project in a completely secure way. Ms. Marvel will be a fascinating chapter in the MCU's journey into streaming on Disney+ as a result of this. Can a show with a well-known protagonist but no big actors make a difference in the competitive streaming landscape? Yeah, it appears, if only because Marvel has shown time and time again that they have a talent for turning obscure comic book characters into household names (see: Guardians of the Galaxy). Fortunately, people won't have to wait long to see the hero for the first time. With Ms. Marvel's shooting completed, she'll definitely make her Disney+ debut in a matter of months.
