Vincent D’Onofrio, who plays the role of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the MCU, revealed that Marvel’s Echo series will lead into Daredevil: Born Again. Echo is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2023 on Disney+.
In an interview, Vincent D’Onofrio confirms that the Echo series leads into Daredevil: Born Again. He told, “We did some scenes about how I approach the character. It’s full on in the last few episodes of that show, Echo. It’s going to be quite something. And that leads into, of course, Born Again.” it is confirmed that the Kingpin is not dead. At the end of the Hawkeye series, Maya shot Kingpin, but the scene after that was not shown, and the series ended.
Vincent praises Alaqua Cox’s performance in Echo, “You get to see Alaqua Cox’s performance, it was just phenomenal. [She’s] the woman who plays the lead in the show and is just unbelievable.”
According to the synopsis, “The origin story of Echo revisits Maya Lopez, whose ruthless behavior in New York City catches up with her in her hometown. She must face her past, reconnect with her Native American roots and embrace the meaning of family and community if she ever hopes to move forward.”

Daredevil: Born Again is going to be a lengthy series. it is confirmed that the show contains 18 episodes. Charlie Cox recently appeared as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law series. Daredevil: Born Again is expected to release in the fall of 2024.
