Wayne T. Carr, who portrayed the role of Green Lantern in Zack Snyder’s Justice League shared a new image through his Twitter handle on the film’s first anniversary. Wayne quoted “Give the fans what they want- JL 2/3 #RestoreTheSnyderVerse In brightest day…”

The much awaited extended version of Justice League premiered in March of last year on HBO Max. In snyder’s version there is a scene of Green Lantern appearence and which was not allowed to use. The scene character was replace by Martian Manhunter. Snyder himself filmed the scene with Wayne T. Carr as John Stewart during the pandemic, but during the final cut Warner Bros. forced to replace Green Lantern as they told another plans for the character. HBO Max later announced they are developing an Green Lantern series focused on Green Lantern Corp members Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz, and Alan Scott.

At the 2021 Justice Con, Snyder revealed Carr filmed a scene in his driveway as Green Lantern. “He’s an amazing actor, an amazingly kind gentleman,” Snyder told the Nerd Queens and Wonder Meg. “I said, ‘Look, there’s a chance that this doesn’t make it in the movie,” but the scene was shot anyway.
