Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Isla Fisher, and Rachel McAdams are reuniting for ‘Wedding Crashers 2’ set to premiere on HBO Max. Production will begin this August in Puerto Rico.

Vince Vaughan claims he and his co-star Owen Wilson are talking about making a sequel to their iconic romantic comedy Wedding Crashers. In the 2005 film, Vaughan and Wilson played two divorce mediators who ‘crash‘ weddings in order to meet and woo ladies. Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, Isla Fisher, and Bradley Cooper all appeared in the picture, which was directed by David Dobkin. Vaughan told Entertainment Tonight that the sequel has a “concept,” but it is still in the “early stages.”

“For the first time really, Owen and I, as well as the director of Wedding Crashers, have started discussing a sequel to that film. As a result, there has been an excellent concept. So that’s something we’re talking about right now,” the 50-year-old actor remarked.

“They were enjoyable movies to make,” Vaughan remarked, referring to Wedding Crashers, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Zoolander. It’s always a lot of joy to make people laugh and work with hilarious individuals.”

The actress is now starring alongside Kathryn Newton in the eerie thriller Freaky. A high school kid accidentally changes bodies with a serial murderer in this film.

“It was a lot of fun having Kathryn help me flesh out each character. We had a practice phase when we were kind of discovering the body of each character so there would be cohesiveness since she came up with such amazing ideas. “We simply had a lot of fun pretending with each other,” Vaughan added. “There’s a lot of physical action and fighting, but it’s also a lot of fun. We’d be very invested in a scene, and then we’d start to improvise and play around with ideas, so it was a roller coaster,” he explained. The film Freaky will be released in US theatres on November 13th.
