Westworld: Season 4 Filming Halted

Westworld is the most recent season to be affected by the epidemic. As a consequence of a positive Covid test, HBO has halted production on the fourth season of the sci-fi Western drama series. As part of its stringent testing process, the Warner Bros. TV-produced show received a positive test from a production member and will be paused for two days next week.

Westworld: Season 4 Filming Halted

It joins a number of series that have had to halt owing to Covid in a dismal, but expected turn of events, considering the rise of cases throughout the country. Season 10 of American Horror Story has been paused, while series including House of the Dragon and Bridgerton has been paused on the other side of the water.

Season 4 of Westworld, the dark journey about the advent of artificial intelligence and the subject of free choice, began filming earlier this summer. Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton, Aaron Paul, Jimmi Simpson, Katja Herbers, Ed Harris, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quarterman, and Rodrigo Santoro feature in the series, which is now in its fourth season, with Aurora Perrineau joining the cast.

Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, Denise Thé, J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Richard J. Lewis, and Ben Stephenson are executive producers of Westworld, which is based on Michael Crichton’s namesake film. Kilter Films and Bad Robot Productions are producing it in collaboration with Warner Bros Television.
