Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens in theaters worldwide. Stephen Strange and Christine Palmer‘s relationship is very complicated. They can’t be together in any of the universes. At the end of the film, Strange admits to Palmer that while he has always loved her, he was too insecure about committing to a real relationship.
With the powers of America Chavez, Wanda Maximoff throws Strange and Palmer into a universe that is being destroyed by an incursion and heads towards its New York Sanctum. Strange enters the Sanctum and there he will meet his variant Sinister Strange, who was corrupted by Darkhold, possessing a third eye. Strange will tell him everything happened and Sinister Strange how he was broken and Palmer was the cause for his corruption. When attending Christine Palmer’s wedding, Palmer will ask him “Are you happy”, Sinister will tell her yes, and when coming home strange face very pain that he was not happy.
Strange then starts using Darkhold and will check which universe Strange and Palmer was together, he never finds them together in all the universe. He was corrupted by Darkhold, which led to destroying his universe. It’s kind of What if…? episode 4 events.

Will Steven and Christine Reunite?
Maximoff sacrifices herself to destroy the castle and with every copy of the Darkhold within the Multiverse, Wong, and Chavez will find Strange and Palmer. Strange asked Palmer to come with him, but Palmer refused that she was not supposed to be in his universe. finally, Strange admits to Palmer that while he has always loved her and both separate.
It is not over, there will be Doctor Strange’s third sequel, hope they reunite in it.
