Marvel’s upcoming Captain America 4 is set to be directed by Nigerian-American filmmaker Julius Onah. the film is a sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. The production will begin in early 2023.

Captain America 4 Cast?
Anthony Mackie will play the role of Sam Wilson/ Captain America. The other cast is not announced yet. there is a rumor going on Chris Evans would reprise his role of Steve Rogers, AKA the first Captain America. Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson set to write the script.

Captain America 4 Plot Details?
According to a Reddit source, The movie begins with a VO from Sam, talking about the shield and being Cap, played over a montage of him training with the shield, newspaper headlines, and reporters talking about his ‘controversial’ behavior. His VO is revealed to be him giving the eulogy at Steve Rogers’ funeral, detailing the impact of Steve’s legacy on his own superhero journey.
Many of the main characters are introduced at the funeral, including Bucky Barnes, Sharon Carter, and Joaquín Torres. There was a placeholder for other past Avengers since I assume they haven’t finalized the cameo bookings. The main villain will be a modified version of the Serpent Society known solely as “The Serpents” that have been trying to ‘mutate humans’. It’s not clear if this is before or after X-Men are introduced into the MCU. The Serpents serve as a direct rival to Sharon Carter’s Power Broker operations. She seeks Sam out after the funeral, and they talk about Steve and the emergence of the Serpents. Sharon asks for help taking them down under the guise of being concerned that the Serpents are trying to manufacture their own super-army.

The release date for Captain America 4 is not yet announced. The filming is set to begin in early 2023 and the release date is expected in late 2024.
