The Green Goblin will once again reboot in Spiderman: No Way Home. According to the new Spider-Man: No Way Home rumor, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin will play a key part in the film as the Sinister Six’s commander. Willem Dafoe is one of several significant performers from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy and Marc Webb’s two Amazing Spider-Man films who have been reported to return for Spider-Man: No Way Home, in a plot that will see the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse burst up wide. However, although fans wondered if these Spider-Man movie graduates would be given glorified cameos in No Way Home, the latest rumors suggest otherwise
Part of that discussion focused on Willem Dafoe’s Norman Osborn/Green Goblin’s role in the tale, with Sneider saying that Dafoe will be the film’s “primary villain.” Green Goblin is expected to command a version of the Sinister Six villain gang, which will include villains from both the Spider-Man trilogy and the Amazing Spider-Man movie.
Along with Dafoe’s Green Goblin, Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus have been confirmed, with Thomas Hayden Church’s Sandman also said to be returning. Other theories suggest that The Lizard and Rhino from the Amazing Spiderman flicks will join the squad.
Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, played by Willem Dafoe, is still recognized as one of the great villains in the whole Spider-Man film franchise. Dafoe’s return as Norman Osborn will not only entice Marvel fans to see Spider-Man: No Way Home in theatres, but it will also feed considerable speculation and demand for Dafoe to reprise his role as Norman Osborn in the bigger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
J.K. Simmons, the star of the Spider-Man trilogy, has already been rehired by Marvel Studios as a part of the MCU. The precedent has already been set by J. Jonah Jameson. Norman Osborn has long been a figure that Marvel fans have wished to see in the MCU. It would be a fantastic re-introduction to lead a version of the Sinister Six assembled from throughout the Spider-Man Universe.
The return of the Green Goblin and the introduction of the Sinister Six aren’t the only major events planned for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Kirsten Dunst, and Emma Stone, all former franchise stars, have been speculated to appear. Emma Stone, on the other hand, recently denied the cameo, while Andrew Garfield has been vacillating on whether or not he’ll return. Still, Marvel movies have a strict rule of confidentiality, so we don’t anticipate any prominent former stars to give anything away. On December 17th, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released in cinemas. The first trailer is set to be released soon.
