Zombie Heist Continue With Zack Snyder’s Planet Of The Dead

Zack Snyder is planing for an Army Of The Dead sequel titled “Planet Of The Dead” In an interview with inverse, Snyder revealed his future projects like the original sci-fi epic Rebel Moon, and the fate of one fan-favorite Army of the Dead character. He also revealed the title of his planned zombie sequel. Spoiler alert: it’s Planet of the Dead.

With the release of Army of Thieves, a prequel to that film, on Netflix this Friday, it’s clear that Snyder — a maximalist filmmaker who arguably shares more in common with the great German composer Richard Wagner than any of his Hollywood contemporaries — is working on his Gesamtkunstwerk (or “total artwork” in English).

The Gesamtkunstwerk was developed by Wagner, who felt that opera was the best environment in which to produce such a masterpiece. It aimed to merge aspects of music, drama, poetry, dance, and visual art into the ultimate form of performance. Der Ring des Nibelungen, a four-opera cycle based on Norse mythology, was the closest Wagner ever got to realizing this ideal.

Is Justice League 2 will be there?

Zack Snyder said that Justice League 2 is not happening, and as of writing, there are no plans for the DC sequel either. Fortunately, Snyder was kind enough to outline the sequel so we die-hard fans will get some kind of closure.
