Zack Snyder has shared an unfinished image from “Rebel Moon.” On Vero, Snyder shared the latest image and quoted, “Rebel Moon as promised sorry about the unfinished nature of the shot, but it’s still early days.” The film is based on a story he also created with Kurt Johnstad. Snyder’s Netflix space opera Rebel Moon is epic. The film centers on a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy is threatened by the armies of a tyrannical regent named Balisarius. The desperate civilians dispatch a young woman who has a mysterious past to seek out warriors from nearby planets to help them challenge the regent.
The film stars Sofia Boutella, Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Djimon Hounsou, Jena Malone, Corey Stoll, Ed Skrein, Cleopatra Coleman, Fra Fee, Cary Elwes, and Anthony Hopkins.
Rebel Moon is expected to release on Netflix in 2023, following a limited theatrical release.
