Despite the fact that the film would go on to be known as the much more controversial Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans were pleased that Man of Steel 2 was a possibility at the time. However, as many have speculated, it wasn’t the initial idea for the sequel, and Zack Snyder has been discussing where his Superman films might have gone if they hadn’t been conscripted. Snyder planned to build DC UNIVERSE Superman vs brainiac movie differently, but warner bros didn’t like the plan and unsure whether he would continue with Snyderverse.
